Biography​

​

Ben has worked as a hiking guide, avalanche technician, and budding photographer in Jasper since 2017. Growing up in Edmonton (Alberta), Ben completed a BSc in Engineering Physics and a PhD in Materials Engineering prior to heading to the hills. Ben is the author of two hiking and scrambling guidebooks for the Jasper region and delights in taking readers, and clients to visit some of the more remote parts of the park.

Ben's photography has been included in several other author's published books, as well as news articles, and even postcards sold around the Jasper region.
