Artist Biography

Devin Shaw is a 27-year-old landscape and wildlife photographer with a deep connection to the natural world. Born in Toronto, he has lived and worked in various locations throughout his photographic career, including two years in Southern Georgian Bay, one year in Killarney Provincial Park, and two and a half years in Jasper National Park.

Devin’s photography journey began with urban landscapes before evolving toward a focus on natural scenery and geological features. This shift was driven by a profound spiritual connection with North America’s landscapes. His work aims to capture the world in a way that is both humble and thought-provoking. He continuously refines his approach to interpreting his subjects.

Jasper remains one of Devin’s favourite places to practice photography. Its vast and dynamic landscapes provide endless inspiration, particularly in the realm of landscape photography.

Devin’s work has been featured in publications such as The Weather Network’s, "Your Ultimate Canadian Rockies Adventure Starts in Jasper, Alberta," Canadian Geographic’s, "How Wildfires Are Threatening Astronomy," and HGTV Canada’s, "Rustic-Contemporary Haliburton Cottage Goals."
